Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce power consumption by a circuit for making determinations, to improve the accuracy of a system for making determinations, to improve the safety of an object monitored by a sensor element, or to provide a system for easily monitoring an object. This semiconductor device comprises a detection circuit having a function for analyzing first data to make a first determination in which a first value or a second value is selected, a first determination circuit and a second determination circuit having a function for extracting features of an image, a power circuit, and a power management device. The power management device has a function for supplying a voltage from the power circuit to the first determination circuit when the first value is selected by the first determination, the first determination circuit has a function for analyzing the first data to make a second determination, and the second determination circuit has a function for analyzing the first data to make a third determination when the occurrence of an event is detected during the second determination.
