Abstract:
Provided is a semiconductor device that restores corrupted data. This semiconductor device comprises a first circuit, a memory unit, and a calculation unit, wherein the first circuit has a current source and a first switch, the memory unit has a first transistor and a first capacitance, and the calculation unit has a second transistor. A first terminal of the first transistor is electrically connected to a control terminal of the first switch, a first terminal of the first switch is electrically connected to an output terminal of the current source, and a second terminal of the first switch is electrically connected to a first terminal of the second transistor. When the data held in the calculation unit is to be restored, the first transistor is turned on to supply the data held in the memory unit to the control terminal of the first switch via the first transistor. The first switch is either turned on or turned off depending on the supplied data, causing a current to flow from the current source to the calculation unit via the second transistor to replenish the holding part of the calculation unit with charge.
