Abstract:
To address the above-described problem, a neutralization/water separation tank for an esterification product, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a neutralization unit into which a crude product mixture comprising alcohol and an ester compound, a neutralizing agent, and water are introduced to form a neutralized mixture; a water separation unit which separates the neutralized mixture into a floating layer and a water layer; a first partition wall extending upward from the bottom to form an upper path and separating the neutralization unit and the water separation unit; and a second partition wall extending downward from the ceiling to form a lower path, wherein the water separation unit comprises: a first water separation unit into which the neutralized mixture is introduced from the neutralization unit via the upper path; and a second water separation unit into which the neutralized mixture is introduced from the first water separation unit via the lower path, and the first water separation unit and the second water separation unit are separated by the second partition wall.
