Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a separator for a used sanitary article processing device with which clumps of pulp can be prevented from adhering to a corner on a rotation axis side of an inner drum separation tank, and with which used paper diapers can be satisfactorily processed. [Solution] A separator 4 for a used sanitary article processing device, the separator being used in a processing device for a used sanitary article 2, the separator comprising: an outer drum separation tank 8; an inner drum separation tank 9 that is rotatably provided in the outer drum separation tank 8, and that separates, using a processing liquid 3, a used sanitary article 2 which has been placed therein into raw materials that constitute the used sanitary article 2; and a drive means 119 that drives the inner drum separation tank 9 to rotate. The separator is characterized in that: the inner drum separation tank 9 is formed by a peripheral wall 113 that is cylindrical and is provided with a plurality of holes, and end surface walls 24, 25 that close the axial direction end surfaces of the peripheral wall 113; and a sticking prevention plate 115 is provided between an inner surface side of the peripheral wall 113 and an inner surface side of the end surface wall 25 so as to cover a connection corner part 114 at which an axial direction end part of the peripheral wall 113 and the end surface wall 25 are connected.
