Abstract:
The present application provides a service processing method, apparatus and system for solving the problem of network congestion. The method comprises: a session management function network element obtains first information; the session management function network element determines, according to the first information, a transmission bandwidth of a first service to be accessed by a terminal device, the transmission bandwidth of the first service exceeding a first threshold; the session management function network element determines a target user plane function network element according to the transmission bandwidth of the first service; and the session management function network element sends a first message to the target user plane function network element, the first message is used for requesting the target user plane function network element to provide a service for the terminal device. According to the method, network congestion can be avoided, and load balancing of user plane function network elements is realized.
