Abstract:

A controller (102) capable of receiving an input signal from and transmitting an output signal to a drive circuit for a transfer device, a mounting head, or the like, of an electronic component mounting machine at predetermined intervals (A/2), wherein an output signal is calculated on the basis of a preceding input signal received more than a predetermined interval earlier and is transmitted to the drive circuit after being retained for a length of time that is equal to the time (delay time) required for an output signal from a conventional controller to reach the drive circuit, said conventional controller being capable of receiving an input signal from and transmitting an output signal to the drive circuit at intervals (A) longer than the predetermined intervals (A/2). This enables the controller (102) to spend a long time calculating an output signal, meaning that the controller (102) can be implemented as a servo controller having low calculation power. As a result, it is possible, for example, to equalize the delay times of controllers having different control intervals and thereby equalize the actuation timing, etc., of the actuator controlled by each controller.
