Abstract:

[Problem] To automate setting of connection rods for use of a rotor core holding tool and to increase production efficiency of a magnet-embedded type core. [Solution] A setting apparatus has: a base 42 on which a rotor core holding tool 10 is placed; an opposite base 46 that is coupled to the base 42 so as to face the base 42; a pressure application device 48 that is provided to the opposite base 46 and that applies pressure on an upper plate 14 of the rotor core holding tool 10 on the base 42 toward a lower plate 12; chuck devices 126 that are provided to the base 42, that detachably grip connection rods 30, and that is movable between a separation position where the connection rods 30 are located apart from engaging grooves 32, 34 and an engagement position where the connection rods 30 engage the engaging grooves 32, 34; and fluid pressure cylinder devices 120 that are provided to the base 42 and that drive the respective chuck devices 126 between the separation positions and the engagement positions.
