Abstract:
In order to efficiently reduce customer dissatisfaction when the actual waiting time for a customer exceeds a predicted waiting time, in this settlement management system a control terminal 20 calculates a predicted waiting time t1 for a customer A newly added to a checkout queue, on the basis of an image captured by a monitoring camera 10, and registers the predicted waiting time t1 in a customer table. A waiting time tr actually waited by the customer is then calculated, and if the calculated waiting time tr exceeds a threshold set on the basis of the predicted waiting time t1, processing is carried out to report the same.
