Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of sewing machines, and relates in particular to a thread cutting apparatus of a sewing machine and a sewing machine comprising said thread cutting apparatus, the thread cutting apparatus comprising a motor, a drive crank rotated by the rotation of the motor, a roller disposed on the drive crank, and a long crank connected to a thread cutting mechanism, the long crank comprising a drive part and a limiting part, the drive part having a thread cutting contour surface, the thread cutting contour surface comprising a thread cutting section driven by the roller to drive the thread cutting mechanism to execute a thread cutting action, the limiting part having an inner side surface with a track groove formed opposite and at an interval to the thread cutting section, and the roller moving along the track groove when passing the thread cutting section. Also relating to a thread cutting control method for a sewing machine, using the thread cutting apparatus. There will be no noise caused by jumping due to excessive thread cutting speed.
