Abstract:
Provided are a shaping device, rope manufacturing apparatus and rope manufacturing method, which are capable of limiting increases in curling even when rope pitch is increased or strand pitch is decreased. A shaping device provided with: a spinning part that is located on the axial center of the rope being manufactured and spins around the axis of the rope; and multiple pieces, which are disposed in a zigzag pattern on the circumferential surface of the spinning part and shape the strands that configure the rope. The shaping device is characterized in that the distance (T) between two adjacent pieces is 1/3 of the rope pitch or less.
