Abstract:
The present invention provides a shear-type steel truss coupling beam having friction dampers for fast post-earthquake recovery, comprising chords, diagonal webs, and friction dampers. The present invention is based on common steel truss coupling beams and uses the friction dampers to consume energy. Each friction damper comprises: a main friction plate, a friction piece, a cover plate, and friction bolts. The present invention features a simple configuration and convenient construction. In a minor earthquake, the shear-type steel truss coupling beam having friction dampers does not slip and is equivalent to a common steel truss coupling beam for providing lateral rigidity to a structure; and in a medium earthquake, upon reaching a slip load, the friction dampers slip to consume energy by means of friction, and most of the energy of the earthquake is consumed by the friction dampers. The shear-type steel truss coupling beam having friction dampers for fast post-earthquake recovery of the present invention features no strength degradation and no damage under the action of an earthquake, merely requires inspection and replacement of the friction pieces of the friction dampers after the earthquake, and has the advantages of low post-earthquake repair costs and timely usage.
