Abstract:
This sheave for an elevator has: a boss rotated along with a rotating shaft; a plurality of sheave pieces mounted along the outer periphery of the boss and each having a rope groove on the outer peripheral side thereof; and gripped members having lower rigidity than the sheave pieces. Gaps are provided between the sheave pieces, and the gripped members are disposed between the boss and the sheave pieces. This configuration enables the curvature of the inner peripheries of the sheave pieces to coincide with the curvature of the outer periphery of the boss. Also, in this sheave for an elevator, each of the sheave pieces has provided at the opposite circumferential ends thereof a pair of protrusion members protruding toward the inner periphery of the sheave piece, and a gripped member is provided between the pair of protrusion members. Consequently, the sheave pieces are prevented from being circumferentially displaced together with the boss.
