Abstract:
At the time of cutting a margin (M1) from a first sheet (S1), when the length of the margin (M1) to be cut, said length being in the transfer direction, is less than a predetermined distance (X) between a cutting section (15) and a second transfer section (16), this sheet cutting device feeds the first sheet (S1) to the cutting section (15) by means of a first transfer section (14), while positioning the second transfer section (16) on a transfer path (G). Whereas when the length of the margin (M1) to be cut, said length being in the transfer direction, is equal to or more than the predetermined distance (X), the sheet cutting device retracts the second transfer section (16) upward from the transfer path (G) by means of a retracting mechanism (21), then, feeds the first sheet (S1) to the cutting section (15) by means of the first transfer section (14).
