Abstract:
In order to make it easy to retrieve a sheet from one side in the widthwise direction perpendicular to the sheet discharge direction, a sheet discharge device (6) is provided with sheet discharge trays (7) arranged in parallel in the vertical direction, wherein it is possible to discharge the sheet to any of the plurality of sheet discharge trays (7). The sheet discharge trays (7) are equipped with a placement section (71) and an upper wall section (73). A sheet that is discharged in a pre-set sheet discharge direction is placed on the placement section (71). The upper wall section (73) projects upward and is provided on one end of the placement section (71) in the widthwise direction perpendicular to the sheet discharge direction.
