Abstract:
Provided is a sheet manufacturing apparatus wherein by changing the conditions under which a sheet is manufactured, a variety of raw materials can be handled, and a variety of sheets can be manufactured. This sheet manufacturing apparatus (100) is provided with: a supply unit (10) for supplying a raw material; a disintegration unit (20) in which the raw material is caused to disintegrate; a sorting unit (30) for sorting the disintegrated matter that has passed through the disintegration unit (20); a mixing unit (50) for mixing a resin-containing additive into the sorted matter that has passed through the sorting unit (30); a sieve unit (60) in which the mixture that has passed through the mixing unit (50) is caused to be passed through a plurality of openings; an accumulation unit (70) in which the matter that has passed through the plurality of openings of the sieve unit (60) accumulates; a molding unit (80) for pressurizing and heating the web that has accumulated in the accumulation unit (70) to mold a sheet; and a control unit (90) for changing at least one condition among the sorting unit (30), the mixing unit (50), the sieve unit (60), the accumulation unit (70) and the molding unit (80).
