Abstract:
A sheet post-processing apparatus (20) is provided with a hole-punching device (21), a processing tray (30), and a discharge tray (50). The processing tray (30) causes a sheet to move along a direction orthogonal to a discharge direction in a state in which the distal end of the sheet is projected over the discharge tray (50), whereby it is possible to realize a shift discharge for discharging the sheet to a reference discharge position (P1) on the discharge tray (50) and a shift discharge position (P2) which is shifted from the reference discharge position (P1) by a prescribed amount along the direction orthogonal to the discharge direction. When a hole has been punched in the sheet carrying out the shifting discharge, the sheet is discharged to the reference discharge position (P1) and the shift discharge position (P2), which is shifted from the reference discharge position (P1) along the direction away from a sheet-side edge in which the hole was punched.
