Description:
SHELF ELECTRICITY CONDUCTION APPARATUS

Technical Field

The invention relates to an apparatus which allows conduction of electricity at supporting and joint points of shelf systems used in stores, warehouses etc. with LED lighting and electrical components.

State of the Art

Today in many shelf systems, it is expected to establish electrical connections to every shelf. Generally, for electrical connections to shelf joints, wiring at every joint is necessary. When a shelf is disassembled and when the disassembled shelf to be installed on a different level depending on the usage, the target position that the shelf will be installed is again required to be wired. This brings wire waste and assembling difficulty. Also, further difficulties such as cable waste and tangled wires during transportation are encountered.

The summary of application numbered TR2019/02232 encountered during technical research is that; the invention relates to a socket system which overcomes the disadvantages due to use of wires, allowing electricity conduction between interconnected lighting modules, comprising a terminator socket and bridge sockets as many as the number of the lighting modules desired to be interconnected, a slot on which one pin connector is inserted in the terminator socket and two pin connectors are inserted on the bridge socket, a plastic insulating material introduced to provide insulation around these slots, pin connectors one of which is located on the terminator socket and two on the bridge socket, the bridge socket electronic circuit board on which the pin connectors are located and the terminator socket electronic circuit board, a gasket which prevent undesired situations such as water leak etc. around pin connectors.

As you can see, the system is related to a socket system that provides wireless conduction of electricity, and besides, it does not mention a structure that can provide solutions to the disadvantages mentioned above and can be easily applied on shelves.

The summary of application numbered TR2013/12680 encountered during technical research is that; the invention relates to wireless energy transfer to lighting devices used in furniture by magnetic induction method. The invention comprises two parts, the transmitter circuit, and the receiver circuit. The transmitter circuit is attached to the cabinet by means of double - sided tape and is connected to a cable that supplies current from an energy source. The receiver circuit is attached to the cabinet door by means of double - sided tape to align the transmitter circuit and is connected to the lighting element.

As can be seen, the system is related to wireless electricity conduction for furniture lighting and does not mention a structure that can provide solutions to the disadvantages mentioned above.

Therefore, due to the shortcomings described above and due to the lack of existing solutions on the subject, a development in the relevant technical area is required.

Aim of the Invention

The invention aims to provide a structure with different technical characteristics that introduce a new dimension in this field, unlike the structures used in the current technique.

The primary purpose of the invention is to provide electric connection without requiring further wiring when a shelf is removed and installed at a different level, with the conductor structure with spring and pins introduced inside joint and carrier apparatus, by mounting conductive strip plates introduced to coincide with the joints inside the shelf main framework.

One purpose of the invention is to facilitate disassembly and installation without the need for additional wiring.

Another purpose of the invention is to reduce the labor costs and provide a practical, easy - to - use system.

In order to achieve the aforementioned objectives, the invention is an apparatus that conduct electricity to lighting elements and electrical equipment used in shelves, the apparatus comprises;

• Lug carrier (2) onto which shelves (4) are seated,

• Bearing strut (3) which enables the fixing / positioning of the lug carrier (2) and has a conductive strip (1) provides conduction of electricity through inside,

• Conductive part (2.1 ) which is on the top of the lug carrier (2) and contacts a shelf (4) when the shelf (4) is seated on the lug carrier (2),

• Spring (2.2) which is positioned inside the lug carrier (2) and at the bottom of the conducting part (2.1), which contacts the conductive part (2.1) when the shelf (4) is seated on the lug carrier (2), • Metal rod (2.3) which is positioned inside the lug carrier (2) and which provides the connection and electrical conduction between the spring (2.2) and the conducting strip (1).

The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be understood more clearly through the detailed explanation written with the following figures and references to these figures, and therefore assessment should be made by considering these figures and detailed explanation.

In the herein detailed description, the preferred configurations of the invention are described only for a better understanding of the subject matter, without posing any limitations.

The invention relates to an apparatus which allows conduction of electricity at supporting and joint points of shelf (4) systems used in stores, warehouses etc. with LED lighting elements (5) and electrical components.

A bearing strut (3) is provided for securing the apparatus of the invention. A conducting strip (1) that conducts electricity is introduced inside the bearing strut (3). A plurality of gaps (3.1) are introduced on the bearing strut (3) to allow the lug carrier (2) to be fitted. The lugs (2.4) of the lug carrier (2) are positioned in the mentioned gaps (3.1) and the lug carrier (2) is fixed to the bearing strut (3). Shelves (4) are seated on the lug carriers (2), so that the shelves (4) and the bearing strut (3) are connected.

A conductive part (2.1 ) is introduced at the upper part of the lug carrier (2). The shelf (4) comes into contact with the conductive part (2.1 ) when seated on the lug carrier (2). A spring (2.2) is introduced inside the lug carrier (2) and at the lower part of the conductive part (2.1). When the rack (4) is seated on the lug carriage (2), the conductive part (2.1 ) also comes into contact with the spring (2.2) due to the weight exerted from above. Metal rod (2.3) is located inside the lug carrier (2) which provides the connection and electrical conduction between the spring (2.2) and the conducting strip (1)

The working principle of the invention is as follows;

The clawed carriage (2) is attached by means of the lug (2.4) to the hole (3.1 ) on the bearing strut (3), which corresponds to the height at which the shelf (4) is intended to be installed. When the rack (4) is seated on the lug carrier (2) from one end, the conductive part (2.1 ) comes into contact with the spring (2.2) by moving down, as the conductive part (2.1) applies pressure from the top. Thus, electricity is conducted from the conducting strip (1 ) by means of the metal rod (2.3) to the spring (2.2) and from the spring (2.2) to the conductive part (2.1). Electricity is conducted from the conductor part (2.1) to the lighting element (5) / LED on the shelf (4).
