Abstract:
In order to improve shield function reliability, this shield connector comprises: a male-side shield terminal (20) attached to a male-side housing (10); a male-side inner conductor (37) constituting the male-side shield terminal (20) and connecting to a female-side inner conductor (78) as a result of both housings (10, 70) fitting together; a male-side outer conductor (21) encircling the male-side inner conductor (37) via a male-side dielectric (31) and coming in contact with a female-side outer conductor (76) as a result of both housings (10, 70) fitting together; a cylindrical section (25) being formed in the male-side outer conductor (21) and encircling the female-side outer conductor (76) in a state in which both housings (10, 70) are fitted together; and an elastic contact piece (26) formed in the male-side outer conductor (21) and elastically connecting to an outer circumference of the female-side outer conductor (76). The cylindrical section (25) has expansion and deformation thereof restricted as a result of being in a form connected across the entire perimeter thereof.
