Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shock absorbing device, and more particularly, to a shock absorbing device which is installed on a connector for connecting railroad vehicles, a buffer stop installed at the end of a track, or side buffers formed on both sides of the end portion of a vehicle, etc. so that when shock is applied, by relieving the shock two times, both weak shocks that occur during connection as well as strong shocks that occur during a collision can be relieved; and which is formed as a simple structure as a whole so as to be more easily attachable to and detachable from a connector for connecting railroad vehicles, a buffer stop installed at the end of a track, or side buffers formed on both sides of the end portion of a vehicle, etc., thereby allowing maintenance costs to be reduced. The present invention for achieving the above objectives is characterized by a shock absorbing device that relieves the shock when shock is applied, comprising: a buffer bar formed in a bar shape; a housing provided on the outside of the buffer bar; and a first buffer portion comprising a buffer member that is provided between the buffer bar and the housing.
