Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to obtain a short circuit detection device and a short circuit detection method capable of suppressing an erroneous detection by a preparatory measurement and the reduction of short circuit detection accuracy and more accurately detecting a short circuit of a field winding. The short circuit detection device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a signal acquiring unit (101) that acquires, from a magnetic flux detector (10) for detecting a magnetic flux generated in the gap (3) between the rotor (1) and stator (2) of a rotating electric machine (200), a single detection signal according to the magnetic flux and sets the detection signal as a first detection signal and a second detection signal; a signal processing unit (102a) for frequency-analyzing the first detection signal and generating and decoding a voltage signal obtained by simulating a voltage state during a healthy time; and a signal comparison unit (103) for detecting a short circuit of a field winding of the rotating electric machine (200) by comparing a decoded signal (101) decoded by the signal processing unit (102a) with the second detection signal sent from the signal acquiring unit (101).
