Abstract:
Climbing skin (11) comprising a grip-zone (17) adapted for providing grip against a snow base and a glide-zone (15) adapted to glide on a snow base, with pressure on the ski against the snow base the transition between the gripe-zone (17) and the glide-zone (15) will be mainly without pressure-difference, as the grip-zone (17) and the glide-zone (15) in this transition is substantially flush and parallel with the underside of the ski (1). the rear end of the climbing skin is adapted to b positioned in such a way that the end has the entire or a part of the ski's glide-zone (5) behind it when the climbing skin is attached to the ski. the grip-zone (17) and the glide-zone (15) are self carrying.
