Motor vehicle side door equipped with a moving window and optionally a fixed window and also a lock reinforcement (12) fixed to the lining (2) of the door, the frame (9) of the fixed window or the guide track of the moving window, when the door does not have a fixed window, extending in the vicinity of said lock reinforcement (12), characterized in that the frame (9) of the fixed window or the guide track of the moving window is fixed to said lock reinforcement (12).
