Title:
SIGNAL-TO-NOISE RATIO DETERMINATION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND CHANNEL EQUALIZATION METHOD AND DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/000613
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method and a device for determining a signal-to-noise ratio at a receiving end of an information transmission system. In the method and device, a time-frequency synchronous information transmission system is obtained by using a repeated training sequence structure, and, utilizing the characteristic of independence between signal and noise, stable and reliable estimation of a signal-to-noise ratio is achieved by using peak and valley values of an autocorrelation function without adding additional computational complexity, and reducing signal-to-noise ratio computation. Further disclosed is a method and a device for channel equalization on the basis of an MMSE equalizer. In the method and device, a stable and reliable signal-to-noise ratio is acquired by using the aforementioned signal-to-noise ratio determination method to determine an MMSE equalizer coefficient, and then a scale correction factor is determined using an average of channel frequency domain responses and average power of signal and noise, so as to stabilize the scale of a constellation graph of an output signal by means of scale correction while preserving good equalization performance of the MMSE equalizer, facilitating the normal operation of a subsequent soft decoding module.
