Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a signal transmission connector and a method for manufacturing a socket assembly for a signal transmission connector, the signal transmission connector having a structure suitable for high-speed signal transmission by virtue of not causing signal attenuation and noise and not causing signal interference during signal transmission. The signal transmission connector according to the present invention is configured to electrically connect a first electronic component having a first electrode to a second electronic component having a second electrode. The signal transmission connector comprises: a metal base frame coupled to the first electronic component and having multiple base frame holes; and multiple signal transmission units inserted into the multiple base frame holes, respectively, wherein each of the signal transmission units comprises: a connection socket comprising a conductive unit made of an elastic insulating material in which multiple conductive particles are included, and an insulating unit made of an elastic insulating material and supporting the conductive unit such that the conductive unit is spaced apart from the base frame; and a cover frame coupled to the base frame and pressing the second electronic component placed on the base frame toward the connection socket such that the bottom of the conductive unit can be brought into close contact with the first electrode and the second electrode can be brought into close contact with the top of the conductive unit.
