Abstract:
Disclosed are various embodiments related to a silicon composite, a method for producing the silicon composite, a negative electrode active material including the silicon composite, and a lithium secondary battery including the negative electrode active material. According to one embodiment, a silicon composite includes: a silicon core; and a silicon oxycarbide coating layer formed on the surface of the silicon core, wherein a plurality of pores may be formed in the silicon oxycarbide coating layer. Various other embodiments are also possible.
