Abstract:
A silver halide color photosensitive material having a high photosensitive, hardly undergoing fog, and exhibiting a good granularity and an excellent development stability. The silver halide color photosensitive material comprising a support and further comprising, on one side of the support, at least one red-photosensitive layer, at least one green-photosensitive layer, at least one blue-photosensitive layer, and at least one non-photosensitive layer is characterized in that the coating film silver potential is 80 to 130 mV, and in that at least one photosensitive layer of the red-, green, and blue-photosensitive layers contains a compound expressed by general formula (1) shown below and an inhibitor having a mercapt group having a CLogP value ranging from 2.0 to 12.0 in an amount equivalent to 10 to 40 mol% of the compound expressed by formula (1).
