Abstract:
The invention provides a silver halide photographic sensitive material which is excellent in light resistance and color reproduction and little suffers from surface defects and a method for forming images with the same. The material comprises a support for photographic paper which is made of a base paper whose surfaces are coated with a water-resistant resin and at least one silver halide emulsion layer formed on the support and is characterized in that the coating weight of the water-resistant resin on the silver halide emulsion layer side is 54 g/m2 or above and that the silver halide emulsion layer contains a compound represented by the general formula [M-I] or [M-II].
