Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/046812
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A silver halide photosensitive material having a high photosensitivity, undergoing little fog, and having a favorable gradation, a long shelf life, a favorable pressure resistance, an excellent text image reproducibility, and an excellent color reproducibility even if the silver halide photosensitive material is exposed to light by any one of digital exposing devices having various exposure light sources and exposure systems, and an image forming method therefor are disclosed. The silver halide photosensitive material having on a support at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide particles that contain silver chloride at a content of 90 mole% or more is characterized in that at least one kind of compound expressed by general formula (S) is contained in the silver halide particles, on the silver chloride particles, and in the binder in the silver halide emulsion layer.
