The present invention relates to the technical field of cargo storage, and provides a single row multi-layer storage bank system with vertical avoidance, comprising multiple storage layers (1), multiple storage bank lifting systems (2), vertical shafts (3) arranged at both ends and/or in the middle of the storage bank system, multiple carrier mechanisms (4), carrier mechanism lifting systems (5a, 5b), and multiple self-transporting trolleys (6); each storage layer is provided with multiple sets of storage racks arranged symmetrically side-by-side, each storage rack comprising a first support component (111) for storing cargo (8) and a first rail (12), the first support component being arranged on the lower part of the storage rack and the first rail being arranged on the upper part of the storage rack, and self-transporting trolleys being capable of travelling between multiple storage rack rails on a lower layer and the bottom of the first support component of support racks on the current layer; when a carrier mechanism stops at a storage layer, a self-transporting trolley can run on to the carrier mechanism and move up and down with the carrier mechanism. The system of the present invention can efficiently store cargo.
