Title:
SLEEP PROMOTING COMPOSITION, AND FOOD PRODUCT, MEDICINAL PRODUCT, AND ANIMAL FEED CONTAINING SAID COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/157434
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sleep promoting composition which has excellent safety and stability, and which can increase the amount of sleep throughout the night and in the initial part of the night, reduce sleep onset latency, and increase the length of a sleep episode. In addition, the present invention addresses the problem of providing a food product, a medicinal product, and animal feed that contain said sleep promoting composition. This sleep promoting composition is characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, a micro-organism belonging to either Bifidobacterium adolescentis or Lactobacillus plantarum, or a culture thereof.
