Title:
SLIDING BEARING, BEARING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/142843
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides: a sliding bearing that has an exceptional low-friction property though containing no oil, and allows any increase in shaft temperature to be minimized even under continuous duty; and an image formation device comprising the sliding bearing. Sliding bearings 5a-5c rotatably support rotating shafts on cylindrical inside-diameter surfaces. The sliding bearings 5a-5c are compacts of an oil-free resin composition that contains no oil, the resin composition having an injection-moldable ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin as a base resin, and containing an ethylene tetrafluoride resin and an acicular inorganic filler having a Mohs hardness of 3 or less as additives. Relative to the total resin composition, the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene resin content is 65 vol% or more, the ethylene tetrafluoride resin content is 5 to 25 vol%, and the acicular inorganic filler content is 1 to 20 vol%.
