Abstract:

Provided is a sliding member (excluding those used for an image formation device) such that a good coefficient of friction is maintained and generation of scraping sounds (noise) caused by a continuously sliding member can be reduced. Additionally, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a component and a machine device which use the same, and a method for reducing noise generated from the machine device. The purpose of the present invention is also to provide a coating agent composition for such a sliding member. The sliding member (excluding those used for an image formation device) has a lubricating film that comes into contact with other members, the surface of the lubricating film having an arithmetic average roughness Ra of 0.01 to 1.0 μm in accordance with JIS B0601 (2001), and the lubricating film including at least (A) 100 parts by mass of a film-forming resin binder and (B) 5 to 200 parts by mass of a solid lubricant. A drive component and the like (excluding those used for image formation devices) according to the present invention include the sliding member.
