Mode for the Invention

[26] Reference will be now made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.

[27] FIG. 1 is a perspective view and a sectional view of a sliding straw with solid food according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[28] The sliding straw according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes an outer straw 100 and an inner straw 200 inserted into the outer straw 100 to maintain watertightness. When an upper end portion of the inner straw 200 projecting over an upper end portion of the outer straw 100 is pressed, the inner straw 200 is pushed into the outer straw 100.

[29] In other words, the outer straw 100 and the inner straw 200 are slidably joined together in a state where they keep watertightness.

[30] A solid food 300 is a water-soluble or dispersible material and is dissolved or dispersed in a solvent or dispersion medium, and hence, a user can take it together with solution using a straw.

[31] Here, there is no special restriction in the used solvent or dispersion medium, and generally, drinkable water or various kinds of beverages may be used for the solvent or dispersion medium.

[32] There is no special restriction in the solid food 300, and any one of materials which is dissolvable or dispersible in solvent or dispersion media can be used as the solid food 300.

[33] In detail, the solid food 300 may contain at least one of ingredients in Green tea, coffee, cocoa, tea, vitamin, yeast, pollen, enzyme, lactobacillious, chlorella, germ, mushroom, cordyceps, chitosan, glucosamine, ginseng, red ginseng, herbs, calcium, selenium, and aloes, and the solid food 300 is not restricted to the above-mentioned ingredients and can be manufactured from various kinds of foods.

[34] As shown in FIG. 1, the solid food 300 is inserted into a lower end portion of the outer straw 100, and a lower end portion of the inner straw 200 is pushed upwardly from the lower end portion of the outer straw 100 as high as a length that the solid food 300 is inserted.

[35] Furthermore, the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 projects a predetermined distance from the upper end portion of the outer straw 100.

[36] Accordingly, when the upper end portion of the projecting inner straw 200 is pushed into the outer straw 100, the lower end portion of the inner straw 200 pushes the solid food 300 out of the outer straw 100, and the pushed solid food 300 can be dissolved or dispersed in the solvent or dispersion medium.

[37] A lower stopper 110 is in a cylindrical form and fit onto an outer circumferential surface of the lower end portion of the outer straw 100 in order to store the solid food 30 inside the outer straw 100 in more safety and protect the solid food 300 from external pollution.

[38] As shown in FIG. 1, the upper stopper 120 accommodates the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 projecting over the upper end portion of the outer straw 100 and is fit onto an outer circumferential surface of the upper end portion of the outer straw 100.

[39] In the above state, when the upper stopper 120 is pressed down, while descending along the outer circumferential surface of the upper end portion of the outer straw 100, the upper stopper 120 pushes the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 accommodated therein into the upper end portion of the outer straw 100.

[40] In case that the lower stopper 110 and the upper stopper 120 are constructed as described above, the user can take the solid food 300 as follows.

[41] First, when the user presses the upper stopper 120 after removing the lower stopper

110, the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 is pushed into the outer straw 100, and then, the lower end portion of the inner straw 200 pushes the solid food 300, which is inserted into the lower end portion of the outer straw 100, out of the outer straw 100. When the solid food 300 is separated and discharged from the outer straw 100, the user can take solution, in which the solid food 300 is dissolved or dispersed, using the straw after removing the upper stopper 120.

[42] FIG. 2 is a perspective view and a sectional view of a sliding straw with solid food, which has storage portions 210, according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[43] The storage portions 210 are storage spaces formed by the outer circumferential surface of the lower end portion of the inner straw 200, which is hollowed inwardly, and can store water-soluble or dispersible powder or granules therein.

[44] When a plurality of the storage portions 210 are disposed in order, the storage portions 210 can be opened at the lower end portion of the outer straw 100 in phases according to the distance that the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 is pushed into the upper end portion of the outer straw 100.

[45] For instance, in case where the solid food 300 is coffee solid and sugar powder is stored in the storage portion 210, when the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 is pushed into the upper end portion of the outer straw 100, the coffee solid is first discharged from the outer straw 100 and dissolved in water, and then, the sugar powder is discharged outwardly and dissolved in water. Accordingly, the user can make black coffee or coffee with sugar according to the user's taste, and adjust the quantity of sugar, which will be dissolved in water.

[46] According to circumstances, various ingredients of powder can be respectively stored in the plural storage portions 210, so that the user can select a wanted powder to be dissolved or dispersed.

[47] For instance, in case where the solid food 300 is coffee solid and sugar powder and cream powder are respectively stored in the storage portions 210, the user can make coffee by dissolving the sugar powder and/or the cream powder according to the user's taste.

[48] FIG. 3 is a view showing a state where a lower end portion of an inner straw 200 according to the present invention is formed in a spoon shape.

[49] As described above, in case where the lower end portion of the inner straw 200 is exposed to the lower end portion of the outer straw 100 and stretched out into a spoon shape 220, the solid food 300 or the powder or granules stored in the storage portions 210 can be dissolved or dispersed more rapidly and conveniently.

[50] FIG. 4 is a view showing a state where an outer straw 100 includes an outer bellows

130 and the inner straw 200 includes an inner bellows 230.

[51] The outer straw 100 includes the outer bellows 130 at a predetermined region thereof.

[52] The inner straw 200 also includes the inner bellows 230 formed at a location corresponding to the region of the outer bellows 130 in a state where the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 is pushed into the upper end portion of the outer straw 100.

[53] The inner bellows 230 projects below the maximum vertically movable height of the region of the outer bellows 130 formed on the outer straw 100 to thereby allow a sliding motion. When the straw is used, the inner bellows 230 and the outer bellows 130 are overlapped each other, and hence, not only the outer straw 100 but also the inner straw 200 can be bent at a predetermined angle.

[54] While the invention has been described with reference to particular matters, limited embodiments and drawings, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the invention is not limited to the particular embodiments disclosed since the embodiments are disclosed in the present invention for better understanding of the present invention, but various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted without departing from the scope of the invention. Industrial Applicability

[55] Technical effects of the present invention having the above described structure are as follows.

[56] First, the user can conveniently take the water-soluble or dispersible solid food stored in the straw by dissolving or dispersing the solid food in a solvent or dispersion medium.

[57] In other words, only by pressing the upper end portion of the inner straw 200, the user can put the solid food 300 stored in the lower end portion of the outer straw 100 into a solvent or dispersion medium. After that, the user can take solution in which the solid food 300 is dissolved or dispersed, using the straw after stirring the straw to dissolve or disperse the solid food 300 in the solution. Therefore, the user can take a wanted food more conveniently.

[58] Second, since the straw according to the present invention includes the storage portions formed integrally with the straw and being openable in phases, the user can take contents stored in the storage portions together with solution by dissolving the contents.

[59] That is to say, in case where the solid food 300 is coffee solid and sugar powder is stored in the storage portion 210, when the upper end portion of the inner straw 200 is pushed into the upper end portion of the outer straw 100, the coffee solid is first discharged from the outer straw 100 and dissolved in water, and then, the sugar powder is discharged outwardly and dissolved in water. Accordingly, the user can make black coffee or coffee with sugar according to the user's taste, and adjust the quantity of sugar, which will be dissolved in water. According to circumstances, various ingredients of powder can be respectively stored in the plural storage portions 210, so that the user can select a wanted powder to be dissolved or dispersed.

[60] Third, the straw according to the present invention can contribute to promotion of health by neutralizing poison of fast food or carbonated drinks and maintaining a nutritional balance, since various kinds of health food supplements are stored in the straw.

[61] In other words, in case where the user drinks carbonated drink, Green tea solid stored in the straw is dispersed in the carbonated drink, and hence, the user drinks the carbonated drink in which the Green tea solid is dispersed, whereby the present invention can neutralize poison of the carbonated drink and maintain the nutritional balance.
