Abstract:
The invention relates to a slimming device for people comprising a housing (1), which forms a main compartment (2) and in which a working device (5) that can be actuated by the legs, and a seat (3) for supporting the body of the individual are arranged. The inventive device comprises an opening (8) in the housing (1), which surrounds the body of the individual, a sealing sleeve (19) for sealing the housing (1) in the area of the opening (8) facing the body of the individual, and comprises a vacuum pump for generating a vacuum inside the housing (1). In order to permit an adaptation to different training conditions, the invention provides that, in the area of an opening (9), at least one additional compartment (16) is provided, which is sealed facing the individual or facing the individual and the horizontal resting device, and the internal pressure in the additional compartment can be adjusted independently from the internal pressure in the first compartment.
