Abstract:
A slot die coater of the present invention comprises: a lower die block and an upper die block; a shim plate provided between the lower die block and the upper die block to form a slot; and a manifold provided on the lower die block and accommodating a coating liquid, wherein the slot die coater discharges and applies the coating liquid onto a substrate through a discharge port communicating with the slot, and the shim plate includes: a plate-like member having an open portion that is cut open in at least one region so as to determine a coating width of a coating layer applied on the substrate; and a structure protruding from the plate-like member and inserted into the manifold.
