Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a smart card that can be charged with a wireless charger for a smart phone by configuring a wireless charging card module that satisfies the credit card standard specifications of the International Organization for Standardization. According to the present invention, disclosed is a smart card comprising: a card module in which a circuit performing main functions and various electronic components are implemented and mounted on a board, to which a battery for supplying power to the electronic components is attached, and which is provided with a receiving antenna for receiving power signals wirelessly through magnetic resonance coupling in order to charge power to the battery; and coverlays attached to protect both sides of the card module, wherein the receiving antenna is formed in a conductive pattern on the surface of an insulating plate (non-conductor) in the middle portion of the board. The present invention has the advantage of being capable of reducing the thickness of the wireless charging card module by forming a resonance coil and a rod coil constituting the receiving antenna in a conductive pattern on the surface of the insulating plate (non-conductor) in the middle portion of the FPCB.
