Abstract:
A smart emergency alarm system is provided and comprises three emergency alarm buttons (crime alarm, fire alarm, medical alarm), a water meter, an electricity meter, a natural gas meter, a signal processor, a telephone line, and a central processing unit; during an emergency alarm, the signal processor analyzes and processes an alarm button signal, the telephone line transmits the signal to the central processing unit, and the central processing unit calls the emergency phone of a police station, a fire department, or a hospital on the basis of different signal types, and displays the address of the emergency. At the end of each month, the signal processor reads data from the water meter, electricity meter, and natural gas meter and sends said data to the water company, electric company, and gas company by means of the central processing unit. Fee collection thus does not require on-site visits to check meters, which reduces the operating costs of said companies.
