Abstract:
A socket from which the plug is easily unplugged with a weak force. A receiving piece (29) out of a pair of receiving pieces (27, 29) for holding each of the blades of a plug is secured to a lever (25) and is movable with respect to the receiving piece (27). The lever (25) is supported rotatably in a socket housing (1). The socket has a pressable operating button (33b). The lever (25) is rotated when the operating button is pressed, and the receiving piece (29) is moved away from the receiving piece (27) to weaken the pinching force of the socket. Simultaneously operating means (33) presses a link body (35) to cause the front end of a pushing member (37) to project from the socket housing (1). Thus the plug is pushed out from the socket housing (1).
