Abstract:
Provided is a solid-state imaging device comprising an imaging element array with imaging elements, in which M imaging elements in a first direction and N imaging elements in a second direction, totally M × N imaging elements, are arrayed. The imaging element has a photoelectric conversion unit that includes a photoelectric conversion layer 21, an insulating layer 32, an electric-charge discharging electrode 22, an upper electrode 23, and an electric-charge accumulating electrode 24. The photoelectric conversion layer is provided in common in the at least N imaging elements. In the respective imaging elements, the photoelectric conversion unit comprises a first electric-charge transfer control electrode 25, a second electric-charge transfer control electrode 26, and a light-shielding layer 12. The photoelectric conversion layer 21 has a photoelectric conversion layer first area 21A, a photoelectric conversion layer second area 21B, and a photoelectric conversion layer third area 21C. The light-shielding layer 12 at least covers the photoelectric conversion layer second area 21B and the photoelectric conversion layer third area 21C.
