Abstract:
The present invention reduces the capacity of memories in a solid-state imaging element which holds correction coefficients for each column. An analog-to-digital converter increases and decreases an analog signal via an analog gain selected from among a plurality of analog gains, and converts the increased and decreased analog signal into a digital signal. A plurality of memories respectively have different sizes. A gain correction coefficient calculation unit calculates, as a gain correction coefficient, the correction coefficient for correcting an error of the selected analog gain on the basis of the digital signal. A reduction processing unit reduces the number of digits of the gain correction coefficient to a value corresponding to the analog gain, and stores the gain correction coefficient in a memory having a size according to the number of digits after the reduction among the plurality of memories.
