Abstract:
A solid-state laser medium (10) comprises: an entrance surface (11) and an exit surface (12) parallel to each other; a first reflecting surface (13) and a second reflecting surface (14) between which light propagating between the entrance surface (11) and the exit surface (12) is reflected and which are parallel to each other; and a third reflecting surface (15) and a fourth reflecting surface (16) between which the light propagating between the entrance surface (11) and the exit surface (12) is reflected and which are parallel to each other. The solid-state laser medium (10) causes light that has entered the entrance surface (11) with the center of the light bundle aligned with a center (111) of the entrance surface (11) to exit from the exit surface (12) with the center of the light bundle aligned with a center (121) of the exit surface (12), after going through the same number of internal total reflections by each of the first reflecting surface (13) and the second reflecting surface (14), and the same number of internal total reflections by each of the third reflecting surface (15) and the fourth reflecting surface (16).
