Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sorting robot and a sorting method. The sorting method is applicable to the sorting robot. The sorting robot is used for delivering specific goods to be sorted to specific sorting positions, and a sorting mechanism bearing said specific goods corresponds to the specific sorting positions. The sorting method comprises: S130: the sorting mechanism receives goods to be sorted; S140: the sorting mechanism is driven by a lifting mechanism to be lifted or lowered to heights of corresponding sorting positions; S160: the sorting mechanism performs actions to deliver said goods placed on the sorting mechanism to the corresponding sorting positions. According to the sorting robot and the sorting method above, the collaboration among a chassis, the lifting mechanism and the sorting mechanism achieves the automation of goods sorting, and greatly improves the efficiency of goods sorting while reducing the costs of goods sorting. In addition, the sorting mechanism is driven by the lifting mechanism to move to different heights, and can thus place the goods to be sorted to sorting positions at the different heights.
