Abstract:
A sound source visualization device and method are provided. A sound source visualization device according to one embodiment comprises: a sound source sensing module for sensing, by using a plurality of sound source detection sensors, a sound source signal including ambient sound, a sound source, and noise; a preprocessing module for filtering out the noise in the sensed sound source signal and amplifying the sound source signal; an operating module for analyzing the preprocessed sound source signal so as to calculate, from the sound source visualization device, a simple sound source position including the sound source distance, direction, sound source strength, two-dimensional position, and elevation information; a search module for generating a plurality of pseudo planes, which includes the elevation information, by using the elevation information about the sound source sensed in each of the sound source detection sensors, selecting the plurality of planes, and generating three-dimensional sound source position information by applying, to the simple sound source position, information acquired through the selected plane; and a visualization module, which outputs, to a system host, sound source information including the three-dimensional sound source position information, sound source elevation information, and sound source strength information, or converts the sound source information into a visualization signal and displays same.
