Abstract:
Provided is a soup straining device capable of reducing the time required to provide soup and sufficiently extracting the umami components. This soup straining device (10) is provided with: a base part (11) having a driving unit (13) therein; an outer stockpot (40) that has a cylindrical shape with an open top part and a closed bottom part (45), has a discharge port (43) at the bottom part (45), and is detachably attached to the base part (11); an inner stockpot (50) that has a cylindrical shape with an open top part for receiving broth and a closed bottom part (55), has a fine mesh filter part (61) in the peripheral wall thereof, can be rotated by the driving unit (13), and is placed in the outer stockpot (40); and a scraper (70) that is placed within the inner stockpot (50) and secured to the base part (11), and rotates in a relative manner along the filter part (61) with the rotation of the inner stockpot (50).
