Abstract:
A speaker system capable of absorbing a standing wave occurring in a cabinet (2) or in a sound guide pipe (5) to provide frequency response without peaks and dips. The speaker device includes, in the sound guide pipe (5) or the cabinet (2), resonance means (3) which resonates with the standing wave occurring in the sound guide pipe (5) or in the cabinet (2), and which extinguishes the energy of the standing wave. The resonance means is equipped with means for selecting a resonance wave resonating with the standing wave and a resonance position.
