Abstract:
A speaker system 1 is provided with: a plurality of boxes 3; a plurality of vibration output devices 5 which output vibrations using a vibrating body 17 for converting an electric signal into vibrations; and a voice transmission unit 7 which transmits voice information to the vibration output devices 5. The plurality of boxes 3 have mutually different sizes, and comprise one box 3-n in which other boxes 3-(n+1) smaller by one size than the box 3-n are accommodated successively, whereby all the boxes 3 can be accommodated in the largest box 3. In the speaker system 1, when the boxes 3 are arranged apart from each other, the vibration output devices 5 can be installed in the respective boxes 3, thereby allowing the boxes 5 to function as speakers. Thus, it is possible to emit voice from the respective boxes 3 on the basis of voice information from the voice transmission unit 7.
