Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a special dangerous terrain recognition method and apparatus for a forest fire. The method comprises: obtaining raw DEM data of a valley and reverse raw DEM data of a ridge in a target area; extracting an elevation difference and a first order derivative of contour lines within a preset range of the target area according to the raw DEM data and/or the reverse raw DEM data; and calculating a danger level value of the target area on the basis of the elevation difference and the first order derivative of contour lines, wherein when the danger level value is greater than a preset threshold, the target area is determined to be a dangerous terrain having one valley sandwiched by two mountains or having a narrow ridge. According to embodiments of the present application, the dangerous terrain having one valley sandwiched by two mountains or having a narrow ridge can be accurately recognized, so that the reliability and accuracy of recognition of dangerous terrains are improved, and thus, firefighters can effectively avoid the dangerous terrains, the degree of safety is improved, and the personal safety is ensured.
