Abstract:

Provided is a speed change control system comprising a speed ratio detecting unit for detecting the speed ratio between the input shaft and the output shaft of a torque converter, a torque converter speed ratio reference speed changing unit for shifting up or down the speed stage of a transmission (3) in accordance with the speed ratio detected, a vehicle speed detecting unit for detecting a vehicle speed, a mode selecting unit for selecting an L-mode and an H-mode, and a speed change control unit for permitting a shiftup on condition that the vehicle speed is at a first predetermined value or higher, when the L-mode is selected, and for permitting the shiftup on condition that the vehicle speed is at a predetermined value or more than that predetermined value, when the H-mode is selected.
