Abstract:
Provided are a novel sphingophospholipid precursor, a production method therefor, and a sphingophospholipid production method, that allow a sphingophospholipid demonstrating optical activity to be produced at a high yield. This sphingophospholipid is precursor represented by general formula (1) (In the formula: m represents a natural number from 9 to 25, n represents a natural number from 10 to 15, X1, X2, and X3, may be identical or different and represent H, OH, or O-Y; and Y represents a protective group).
