A sports bicycle capable of being used as a scooter has a front and a back wheels (1,1’) and a connection mechanism (3). A steering mechanism (2) and a driving mechanism (4) are mounted on the front wheel and the back wheel respectively. The driving mechanism includes frames comprising straight rods (6) with sliding walls and cross beams (7) with circular arcs, a pedal unit (39), gears (11) and a spring (16). The frames are connected with the forks (25) of the steering mechanism. The spring is mounted on the frame. One end of the pedal unit is connected to the spring, and the other end is connected to the gear via a transmission mechanism. Gears mesh with the inner tooth in a wheel ring (21). There are locating holes (8) arranged on the straight rod and locating pins (14) arranged on the pedal unit. The locating holes match with the locating pins. There are slides (41) located on both sides of the inner tooth in the wheel ring, and the slides match with the cross beams with circular arcs. The present invention integrates the functions of both scooters and bicycles, and it may be used as walking tool and for recreation and body building, especially suitable for amateur of extreme sports.
